You know what's fate? When your i-Tunes knows exactly what you want to be listening to, eventhough it's set on shuffle.

I have exams next week, and I am....freaking out

....but I have been procrastinating for the past hour or two. I went through some old prints of photos from last year. I found these two sunset photos which I decided I like.

And then I found some other photos....

In my head, I pictured components of these photos put together...and something magical clicked:

I am so sorry Gabby darling that I made you into a burning witch! But the image in my head was too vividly amusing; so I just had to materialise it >< I couldn't help but think of that scene from Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Sir Bedevere: There are ways of telling whether she is a witch.
Peasant 1: Are there? Oh well, tell us.
Sir Bedevere: Tell me. What do you do with witches?
Peasant 1: Burn them.
Sir Bedevere: And what do you burn, apart from witches?
Peasant 1: More witches.
Peasant 2: Wood.
Sir Bedevere: Good. Now, why do witches burn?
Peasant 3: ...because they're made of... wood?
Sir Bedevere: Good. So how do you tell whether she is made of wood?
Peasant 1: Build a bridge out of her.
Sir Bedevere: But can you not also build bridges out of stone?
Peasant 1: Oh yeah.
Sir Bedevere: Does wood sink in water?
Peasant 1: No, no, it floats!... It floats! Throw her into the pond!
Sir Bedevere: No, no. What else floats in water?
Peasant 1: Bread.
Peasant 2: Apples.
Peasant 3: Very small rocks.
Peasant 1: Cider.
Peasant 2: Gravy.
Peasant 3: Cherries.
Peasant 1: Mud.
Peasant 2: Churches.
Peasant 3: Lead! Lead!
King Arthur: A Duck.
Sir Bedevere: ...Exactly. So, logically...
Peasant 1: If she weighed the same as a duck... she's made of wood.
Sir Bedevere: And therefore...
Peasant 2: ...A witch!

*tear* that scene never fails to make me rofl.

Anyway, right. That was definitely too much malicious imagination for one night, so now I'm going to bed.

apparently you have some seriously unresolved issues with me. It is VERY elaine, expressing repressed memories through art. or maybe you're more like her friend with the dolls heads. Anyway, that picture reminds me of your fat boy and how i burned him..

Interestingly enough we're studying the crucible at the moment, which centres around the Salem Witchhunts.

Plus I have the malleus malifactorum.

=)

"I got better!"

The witch is drinking ice tea. Do you think it's a secret remedy for burning? She looks quite helplessly amused too.

I wonder if they eat the witch after they roast it....

la petite reveuse: yes! i know! i went to bed feeling as though i am channelling elaine; it was a very spiritual moment. and, this didn't make me think of fat boy at all. i think it's because i don't have a guilty conscience, but YOU do.

revilo: you will have to lend me one day.

random numbers j: she doesn't look helplessly amused to me. it's more like a "what the hell do you think you're doing?" face. sort of a condescending "is this your idea of a joke?" expression. followed with a "look, you're all retards, i'm just going to keep drinking my tea."

has no one noticed that the figure to the left is yue? hehe
