ugly beautiful things

My portfolio will be based on the theme "Unnatural". I guess these are...inspiration? Even though this is all photography, I'll try and experiment with as many mediums as I can.

What do you find beautiful?

me?
what i find beautiful?

i can't give you a straight answer, but i have given this thought. to me, beauty is not something tangible. beauty is a way of seeing, a mood. nothing and everything can be beautiful; it all depends on the viewer's state of mind.

:)

hmm but i interpreted the question, as "where do you find beauty?" which is really only loosely related to your question.

I thought the same sort of thing as Sunji...hence my visible silence.

I can't say off the top of my mind what I find beautiful, I only find things beautiful when I see them or hear them, or sense them in some other way.

Now I've had time to think though, a book can take you further into emotion than anything else I've come across...it's amazing the feelings it can evoke...remind me to type out the passage from The Plague for you some time. I'll know what it is, as long as you say the passage...it's very memorable.

-forgotten and abandoned objects, that have continued to flourish anyway.
-a smile from someone reserved.
-the blazing look you give someone that you want to hold onto and never let go.
-hands.

must agree with "a smile from someone reserved" and "hands"

i heart hands, they are my favourite things to draw in life drawing. which defeats the purpose of a naked model i suppose...

Well, it's nice to know my writing has a distinctive tinct to it...^^

Whomever it was, Mrs (chances are) Anonymous, I agree fully with
"-the blazing look you give someone that you want to hold onto and never let go"

"-forgotten and abandoned objects, that have continued to flourish anyway."
